This advanced clinical position provides individual and group clinical supervision to licensed clinicians, interns, and Masters level students in the Behavioral Health Children's Centers. The duties will also include Quality Care issues and Education and Training needs associated with the supervision of clinicians. Some travel between clinical care centers is required.
A minimum of two years post-licensure experience. Prior supervisory experience is highly preferred. Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Masters degree in an appropriate behavioral science discipline. DSM 5. Psychology of children and adolescents. Cultural and ethnic diversities of clients. Community resources. Treatment interventions. Normal and abnormal psychology. Assessment skills and crisis intervention. Treatment planning and intervention skills. Ethical and legal issues. Billing and documentation requirements. Effective verbal and written communication skills. Adhere to all client confidentiality requirements and standards. Manage significant electronic paperwork functions. Ability to resolve conflict and cope with crisis situations. Current unrestricted license in the State of California as a Clinical Social Worker, or Marriage and Family Therapist. Meet the requirements of the California Board of Behavioral Science for approved clinical supervision including the maintenance of coursework for supervision.
