The purpose of Dignity Health Management Services Organization (Dignity Health MSO) is to build a system-wide integrated physician-centric, full-service management service organization structure. We offer a menu of management and business services that will leverage economies of scale across provider types and geographies and will lead the effort in developing Dignity Health’s Medicaid population health care management pathways. The Quality Data Abstractor supports the Clinical Performance Department by locating specified clinical data for abstraction from various forms of medical records through intensive medical record review. The Quality Data Abstractor abstracts clinical information from paper or electronic medical record and populates data collection tool to support compliance with quality measures.
High school diploma or equivalent required
Minimum two (2) years experience charting in medical records and/or chart data abstracting experience, preferred.
Must be able to communicate clearly and concisely with all levels of individuals, sometimes in stressful situations.
Computer proficiency as well as knowledge of database entry. Strong organizational skills, required. None required for this position.
