Job Summary:


The Dominican Oaks Administrator provides leadership and overall management of the facility and is responsible for maintaining a superior level of service and care to residents. Scope of responsibility includes operations, staffing, systems, finance and marketing.

  • Promotes and ensures resident and family satisfaction through effective resident-centered care and supervision
  • Ensures priority to resident needs in staff training, systems and procedures
  • Ensures confidentiality of all information relative to residents, through staff training and personal example
  • Participates in formation and programs of Resident Council
  • Initiates resident involvement as appropriate, in issues related to aging and the elderly
  • Establishes and routinely monitors effectiveness of emergency procedures
  • Implements rental and occupancy procedures effectively and efficiently
  • Knowledgeably counsels residents on resources for services or information
  • Conducts regular resident satisfaction surveys and monitors for trends, implements improvement change as indicated
  • Understands and directs implementation of affordable housing processes and regulations
  • Enforces House Rules and Regulations consistently and fairly
  • Sets standards for care in Assisted Living
  • Resolves resident and/or family complaints with attention to overall resident satisfaction and individual dignity
  • Responds to emergencies as appropriate
  • Oversees development and implementation of resident care managemen tools, techniques and practices




  • At least three years experience in senior congregate facility management, with demonstrated skill in budget administration, operations, staff supervision, community relations, marketing and excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Bachelors degree.
  • Coursework in business administration, marketing, social service, hospitality management and/or human resources.
  • Current Administrator's Certification for Residential Care for the Elderly (RCFE).
  • Current Frist Aid certification.
  • Knowledge of and/or ability to learn federal state and local regulations pertaining to the operation of an assisted living facility.
  • Familiarity with the practice of Assisted Living care.
  • Computer skills, including Word, Outlook and Excel.
