The purpose of Dignity Health Management Services Organization (Dignity Health MSO) is to build a system-wide integrated physician-centric, full-service management service organization structure. We offer a menu of management and business services that will leverage economies of scale across provider types and geographies and will lead the effort in developing Dignity Health’s Medicaid population health care management pathways. Dignity Health MSO is dedicated to providing quality managed care administrative and clinical services to medical groups, hospitals, health plans and employers with a business objective to excel in coordinating patient care in a manner that supports containing costs while continually improving quality of care and levels of service. Dignity Health MSO accomplishes this by capitalizing on industry-leading technology and integrated administrative systems powered by local human resources that put patient care first.

Provides clerical support, and outreach services to patients being discharged from local Dignity hospitals.  Places outbound courtesy calls to patients pre-discharge and post-discharge. Using an established process will assist in identifying high risk patients who may benefit from care coordination.  Coordinates all clinical/operational information between DHMSO staff, hospitalists, case managers, primary care physicians and the members/families insuring that all referrals for outpatient services upon discharge and other correspondence with DHMSO are completed.   


  • One or more years working in a health care or other related business environment performing general office duties. Experience working in a managed care environment preferred.
  • Successful completion of a vocational/technical/business program in a related field of study, such as Health Insurance Specialist, Medical Assistant, Medical Billing, or Medical Office Assistant may be considered in lieu of work experience.
  • Must possess valid California driver license.
  • Ability to project a professional, helpful demeanor to all callers. Remains calm when handling difficult or upset callers. 
  • Must have good organizational skills and be able to manage multiple priorities.
  • General knowledge of Microsoft Office applications; Excel, Word, Outlook.
  • Knowledge of generally accepted professional office procedures and processes.
  • Ability to use the following general office equipment correctly and safely: desktop computer for data entry and typing, copy machine, scanner, facsimile machine, and telephone equipment.
  • Ability to function with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to work evenings and/or weekend shifts as needed.
  • Ability to access reliable transportation for commuting between contracted hospitals required.
