The Anesthesia Technician coordinates anesthesia supplies and equipment, and provides them, as well as other assistance, to the anesthesiologists, as needed, within the technician?s scope of practice.


Experience Required:

  • Must have at least one year of recent experience as an Anesthesia Technician
  • Minimum of 3-5 years combined experience in healthcare industry
  • 1-2 years of experience with a minimum of 1 year in area of related field (preferred)

Education Required:

  • Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Bachelor's Degree in healthcare related field or equivalent professional experience (preferred)

Training Required:

  • Complete annual safety training
  • Complete and maintain department specific training


Special Skills Required:

  • Must be in good physical and mental health.
  • Ability to maintain emotional control in times of stress, and to continue to perform appropriately.


Licensure/Certification Required:

  • Current and Valid Basic Life Support certification- AHA   CT CPRBLS
  • Anesthesia Technician Certification ASATT (preferred)
