Coordinator- Staffing

Supports the nursing director in areas of acuity, scheduling and staffing, as well as other staffing office functions. Responsible for managing the coordination and pre-processing of all patient admissions and/or internal placement of patient admissions, transfers.

Working knowledge of nursing care delivery systems, staffing levels, medical terminology and associated patient needs. One (1) year as Staffing Coordinator or Admitting in a hospital or health care related setting. Typing speed of 45 wpm. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Knowledgeable in Microsoft Word, Excel and Meditech, Optilink or similar staffing program.
