The Radiographer II, under the general supervision of the Department of Medical Imaging Management and under the direction of the Radiologist, performs high quality diagnostic imaging exams and other duties as assigned within the California State and national license scope of practice. Responsible for operating complex imaging equipment, both mobile and stationary, in various patient care settings for purposes of obtaining quality diagnostic images in at least two modalities. Inputs and retrieves data from the Hospital Information System (HIS), Radiology Information System (RIS) and Picture Archival and Communication System (PACS). Works assigned shifts within the department performing any and all job assignments in an accurate and timely manner. This position requires the full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the Mission of Community Hospital of San Bernardino. It is expected that the employee will demonstrate behavior consistent with the Core Values of Community Hospital of San Bernardino.
Cardiovascular Imaging Specialist: are required to have documented competency in lieu of state or national licensure for a second modality. ARRT certification in Cardiovascular Imaging is preferred
