Position Summary:
An Administrative Coordinator is a position that supports the Emergency Department professional caregivers through the clerical functions related to patient registration and clinical data input and record.
Minimum:
Preferred:
Two years vocational training or two years relevant work experience may be substituted for vocational training required. Minimum of 3-5 years combined experience in healthcare industry required. Graduation from High School or equivalent required. Able to understand and follow all policies, procedures, guidelines, rules and regulations of the assigned unit, Nursing Service, Sequoia Hospital, Title XXII, COBRA/EMTALA, JCAHO and other applicable state and federal laws required. Able to work under stress and accurately performs multiple tasks required. Knowledgeable of computers, including data entry required. Must obtain Crisis Response Training (CRT) within three months of hire or transfer. Typing and word processing skills recommended.
