Job Summary:


We are seeking an interventional radiologist Performs Neuro Endovascular and General Interventional procedures, includes strokes, both neuro and general IR treatments, trauma and general IR procedures while practicing radiation safety.  Technologist’s duties includes compassionate patient care, patient education, sterile technique, scrubbing, extensive product knowledge, ability to problem solve quickly, able to charge, bill procedures appropriately and precise inventory management.  Able to work well with coworkers and physicians, team player and ability to work in fast paced, ever changing work environment.  May have additional duties delegated such as safety, supplies, contrast, patient or staff scheduling and training. 

All duties of Radiation Spec Tech  and is multifunctional in all areas of Interventional Radiology without any assistance required. May have additional duties delegated such as safety, supplies, contrast, staff/patient scheduling, and training.

Located in Phoenix, AZ, this position is critical to the success of St. Joseph's Hospital Medical Center and requires the full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the Mission of Dignity Health.


Two years related experience. ER, surgical procedures and non-vascular special procedures experience. Film quality control and PACS experience preferred. Film quality control and PACS experience preferred. Completion of approved American College of Radiology: Radiologic Technologist Program. Certificate of Medical Imaging Modality. American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT). 
AZ state license:  Medical Radiologic Technologist Board of Examiners (MRTBE), BCLS, specialty certification in interventional radiology (vascular imaging).
