Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

 

Join us now as a Pharmacy 340b Coordinator working in a fast-paced environment. This position will report to the Director of Pharmacy and be responsible for day-to-day administration and operations of 340B Program Services.

 

The incumbent is responsible for performing audits to validate compliance with the program requirements and maintaining good working relationship with all contracted pharmacy partners. This position works with operations on reasonable and logical solutions to ensure compliance with all requirements of the 340b program. This entails planning, design, implementation and maintenance of the 340b program including policy and procedure interpretation along with coordination of issue resolution in conjunction with internal departments. In addition, the incumbent will investigate, respond and report accurate data related to split billing and contract pharmacy and serves as an organizational resource for acute and contract pharmacy employees and the facility Authorizing Official.

 

Applicants should have 3+ years of hospital pharmacy experience and two or more years in a similar or related role.

Billing, auditing and IT related experience preferred.

Must possess strong interpersonal, organizational, problem solving and computer skills.

Must demonstrate effective oral and written communication skills.

Consistently demonstrates ability to respond to changing priorities and situations in a flexible manner in order to meet current needs.

 

Demonstrated ability to manage and prioritize tasks with attention to detail.

Ability to work in a team environment, use a computer for communication, writing and research.

Expertise with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Ability to utilize Cerner and Macrohelix software effectively preferred.

 

Qualifications

REQUIREMENTS:
Three years pharmacy tech experience. High School Diploma/GED.

MS Office skills required

Licensed AZ Pharmacy Tech certification
