Assures optimal quality nutritional care for all hospitalized patients in both the in-patient and out-patient setting by developing , implementing and following up on the nutritional care plan based on the patients nutritional assessment status, and needs that will correlate with other health care plans. Maintains effective written & verbal communications. With all levels of hospital staff and across disciplines
Experience
Minimum one year experience as a Registered Dietitian; Working experience in an acute care hospital highly preferred
Education
Bachelor of Science or advanceddegree from an accredited institution with a major in foods and nutrition, or equivalent nutrition program.
Licensure
REGISTERED DIETICIAN (RG DIETCN)
Must be registered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics or is a candidate for registration and successfully passes the registration exam
