Mercy Hospital of Folsom's four (4) suite Surgery department mostly performs Ortho, General and Robotic cases, along with occasional Gyn and ENT. 
Position Summary:
The incumbent provides, coordinates and directs care to individuals and families using a holistic approach in the Surgery department. The Nursing process is used as a structured mechanism for critical thinking and problem solving in providing effective and appropriate care within a safe and confidential environment from admission to discharge. Each RN is responsible for collaborating with members of the team, providing leadership, personal/professional development, and conducting him/herself professionally.

  • One year experience as a Surgery RN in an acute care setting.
  • Candidates must have a current California RN License and BLS from the American Heart Association.
  • Other certifications may be required.
