The role is responsible for designing, developing and overseeing strategies for CommonSpirit to improve its use of temporary physician and advanced practice providers, establishing provider contracting strategies, structures and processes in order to ensure that provider contracting addresses CommonSpirit Health business objectives including competitive contracts, compliance requirements and economic risks, and lead in other CommonSpirit Physician Enterprise innovation strategies. This leader will drive increased consistency and effectiveness of these agreements and applicable practices and procedures using strategic contracting strategies and relationships with the goal of ensuring that these agreements are designed and implemented in a manner that drives affordable, high-quality and accessible care. This leader will manage outside vendors and related contract negotiation and implementation. Responsible for establishing overall direction, standards, policies and procedures, and standardized data, tools and best practices to support effective implementation of temporary physician and advanced practice provider contracting and administration of agreements. Serves as a key member of the Physician Enterprise leadership team.
