Responsibilities

Position Summary:
  • Responsible for the Total Operation of the Rehabilitation Unit at both St Mary’s Medical Center and St Francis Memorial Hospitals in San Francisco.   
  • The ARU director will have responsibility of the performance of the unit including budget, program development, expense management, quality and CARF accreditation.
  • Candidate must have experience in CARF accreditation and successful history of ARU performance.

  • ARU Director must have experience in one of the following fields; Physical Therapist, Occupational Therapist, Speech Language Therapist, Registered Nurse, RN,

Registered Nurse, RN, Physical Therapist, PT, Rehab, OT, Occupational Therapist, Speech Language Therapist, SLP, Inpatient, hospital, acute rehab, director, manager, California, CARF #acuterehableader

Qualifications

As a Program Director you must have:

  • At minimum, be a graduate of a four-year bachelor’s degree program
  • Masters Degree Preferred
  • Background in  clinical experience with a degree in Physical Therapist (PT), Occupational Therapist (OT), Speech Language Therapist (SLP) or Registered Nurse (RN)
  • A track record of successful management experience in an Acute Rehabilitation Unit (or like experience) coupled with strong business, interpersonal, organizational and entrepreneurial skill is necessary
