Radiology Tech III - MRI

In keeping with the Dignity Health core values, the Radiology Tech III performs all diagnostic radiology procedures and specialty procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision to technical detail and performs a variety of technical procedures that will require independent judgment with ingenuity and initiative.

This position is represented by SEIU, Local UHW and is covered by the terms and conditions of the applicable collective bargaining agreement.

Minimum Requirements: 

• CRT & Fluoroscopy Permit certification required
• ARRT certification in Mammography, Computed Tomography, Cardiac/Interventional Radiology or MRI
• CPR/BLS certification
• RTT license required
• Must have a minimum of three (3) years experience as a staff technologist one (1) year experience in one specialty field in an acute care facility or healthcare facility

Special Skills:

• Demonstrates extensive knowledge of principles, techniques and procedures of Diagnostic Radiography and specialty.
• Ability to work tactfully and effectively with fellow staff members, physicians and the general patient population. 
• Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing. 
• Ability to work independently and be functional member in a team oriented environment. 
• Self-motivated and able to achieve results through good organizational skills.  Ability to organize and prioritize work efficiently.
