Manages the operational, financial, personnel, and planning activities of the Medical-Surgical and ICU Departments.  Is held accountable for policies and procedures of the department and organization.  This position supports the mission, vision, and philosophy of CommonSpirit Health.

• Registration by the State of North Dakota Board of Nursing
• American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Certification for Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) preferred
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience in Medical-Surgical and/or ICU units and three (3) years of leadership experience.  *May consider candidate with Associate’s degree and minimum of eight (8) years of experience in Medical-Surgical and/or ICU and five (5) years of leadership experience
• Established leadership skills
• Knowledge of coaching and mentoring practices
