Upon referral provides professional Physical Therapy services including evaluations, planning individual patient care programs, and treatments. Demonstrates/uses current knowledge of principles and practices of Physical Therapy. Participates in job related departmental functions as an integral member of the patient care team.
Minimum of one year experienceas a physical therapist in a physical disabilities setting, preferably in acute care or acute rehab, OR completion of six (6) to (9) months internship in an acute care or acute rehab. Knowledge of physical therapy theory, treatment, and evaluation in areas of neurology is recommended. Doctorate, Masters or Baccalaureate degree from a school of Physical Therapy accredited by the Council on Medical Education and Hospitals of the American Physical Therapy Association or its equivalent. Current AHA BLS certification required. Current and valid physical therapy license, according to the laws of California.
