In keeping with Dignity Health core values, the Clinical Specialist - PT is responsible for providing specialty physical therapy assessments and treatments to patients as evidenced by a high degree of expertise in a given area or areas. Provides training and/or supervision to staff physical therapists, may supervise or be responsible for a particular program such as inservice coordinator, outpatient cardiac rehab program, NICU follow-up program and/or day to day operations of a particular area of the department. May have specialty certification in Physical Therapy field such as NDT, orthopedics, wound care Etc.
This position is represented by SEIU, Local UHW and is covered by the terms and conditions of the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
