Responsibilities

Job Summary:

 

The CommonSpirit Health National Core Laboratory is Opening September 2020! We are looking for bright, energetic seasoned individuals who enjoy being a part of this exciting opportunity to meet the CommonSpirit molecular diagnostic needs. The lab will serve to support the needs of the Covid-19 pandemic and as an Anatomic Pathology, Molecular, Flow Cytometry and Cytogenetics Laboratory thereafter.

 

This will be a fast paced, innovative laboratory supporting the various service lines across the nation.

 

Performs Med Tech I duties. Researches and develops new procedures/techniques. Assists with technical supervision.

Qualifications

Minimum

  • Bachelors degree in a chemical, physical, biological, or clinical laboratory science or medical technology from an accredited institution
  • Five years clinical lab experience as Medical Technologist within a hospital

Preferred

  • Preferred: Medical Technologist certification (MT) by the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) or Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) National Credentialing Agency for Laboratory Personnel (NCA) or equivalent as defined within Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments (CLIA)
