Is expected to perform duties in alignment with the mission and policies of the organization and the Department of Nursing. Performs duties in support of and in compliance with the performance improvement plan, Joint Commission, Title 22, CMS, and other licensing, accrediting and regulatory agencies. Is responsible to the Manager of Infusion Therapy to manage and coordinate clinical operations in order to provide quality direct patient care as it relates to radiological procedures, PICC Line Insertion, and sedation/monitoring of patients to the pediatric, adult and geriatric population. Ensures that all aspects of documentation, care planning, education and patient care delivery to meet standards of care and regulatory requirements. Is responsible for fostering a positive interactive team milieu. Facilitates optimal environment to support orientation and competency validation.
