In keeping with the Dignity Health core values, performs all diagnostic radiology procedures and specialty procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision to technical detail. Performs a variety of technical procedures that will require independent judgment with ingenuity and initiative.



Minimum Requirements:

  • CRT & Fluoroscopy Permit certification required.
  • ARRT certification in Mammography, Computed Tomography, Cardiac/Interventional Radiology or MRI required.
  • CPR required.
  • Must have a minimum of three years experience as a saff technologist one (1) year experience in one specialty field.
  • Demonstrates extensive knowledge of principles, protocols, techniques and procedures of Diagnostic Radiography and specialty.
  • Ability to work tactfully and effectively with fellow staff members, physicians, and the general patient population.
  • Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
  • Ability to work independently and be a functional team member in a team oriented environment.
  • Self-motivated and able to achieve results through good organizational skills.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize work efficiently.
  • Must spend at least 25% of clinical time working in the speciality.
