About this opportunity:

This position is responsible for the oversight of the Diabetes Program.  Duties include:

  • Assesses and educates patients.
  • Provides followup and continuity of care to patients, as appropriate.
  • Oversees data collection.  Presents data regulary and provides overview at annual meeting.
  • Develops educational programs and strategies to meet goals of the department and hospital.
  • Supports Performance Improvement programs by suggesting, developing, monitoring and evaluating methds and action plans. Integrates latest research, best practices and regulatory requirements.






  • Two years’ experience educating diabetic patients in an outpatient or clinic setting.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Foods & Nutrition, or Dietetics.
  • Registered Dietitian.
  • Diabetes Educator Certification.
