SUMMARY - Responsible for the scheduling of procedures for various departments with minimal phone wait times. Has the ability to manage multiple processes including phone, fax, walk-in appointments and computer systems. Ability to multi-task, think critically, problem-solve, move quickly between varying skill sets, and display consistent Humankindness throughout all interactions. Performs complex customer service duties, including but not limited to registration, scheduling, handling/processing inbound and outbound patient referrals, and telephone calls. This representative will handle information from referring physicians, potential patients, exiting patients and members of the community and internal clinical teams.
One year of customer service experience or industry experience in a health care setting.
Two years of clinical experience working with patients, such as a medical assistant, CNA, practical nurse or other clinical patient care position.
Excellent organization, interpersonal, communication/phone etiquette, and technical phone skills. Computer knowledge and proficiency in MS office, E-mail and internet, and be able to learn to use new software as it relates to the position.
