Located in the Phoenix, Ariz., suburb of Gilbert, the Mercy Gilbert Medical Center, is a 198-bed, not-for profit hospital with more than 1,300 employees and almost 900 doctors on staff representing all major specialties.  In 2014, Phoenix Children’s Hospital launched a 22-bed pediatric unit inside the hospital.   Mercy Gilbert opened in 2006 and has been a vital part of the growing community. Join us now as a Surgical Technician. The Surgical Technician will provide excellent service to the patients of the OR Department, the physicians, fellow employees and hospital staff.
 
Located in the City of Gilbert, a suburb of Phoenix, this position is critical to the success of Dignity Health Mercy Gilbert Medical Center and requires the full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the Mission.
  
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: 
HS Diploma or equivalent combination of education and/or experience
Five years of experience in a multi-specialty Operating Room, with demonstrated skills in general orthopedics, general, OB/GYN, and plastic procedures. 
BLS required (American Heart Association)

Qualifications

Thorough knowledge of basic aseptic technique and principles. Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a multi-specialty Operation room required. Basic computer skills including MS Office Suites. Demonstrates excellent written and verbal communication skills. Current BLS Healthcare Provider Card
