Overview

The purpose of Dignity Health Management Services Organization (Dignity Health MSO) is to build a system-wide integrated physician-centric, full-service management service organization structure. We offer a menu of management and business services that will leverage economies of scale across provider types and geographies and will lead the effort in developing Dignity Health’s Medicaid population health care management pathways. Dignity Health MSO is dedicated to providing quality managed care administrative and clinical services to medical groups, hospitals, health plans and employers with a business objective to excel in coordinating patient care in a manner that supports containing costs while continually improving quality of care and levels of service. Responsibilities

 

The Project Manager leads internal teams/task forces on enterprise wide projects. Responsible for planning, executing and managing multiple and/or large projects according to pre-determined timelines and budgets; assigning the project teams; building project plans; reporting status to the client and internal teams; and ensuring quality control throughout the project life cycle.

 

  • Create a comprehensive project plan which includes outlines the scope and project requirements, acknowledges critical milestones, and identifies resources, systems, and individuals needed to successfully execute the plan.
  • Communicate effectively with clients to identify needs, evaluate alternative business solutions, and make sound recommendations.
  • Effectively facilitate team and client meetings in order to understand the full scope of the project, assign tasks appropriately and ensure the project is progressing according to the project plan.
  • Use of of tools and methodologies that will best support the plan at each stage through completion.
  • Delegate tasks and projects to appropriate team members and follow up to ensure timely completion.
  • Provide feedback to team members; uses effective coaching and instruction to ensure individuals are participating and engaging in the project plan.

Qualifications

Minimum Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, or other related field preferred.
  • Experience working in a healthcare, or other related business environment overseeing multiple projects across all lines of business.
  • Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional teams in the development, planning and execution of project plans.
  • Must have valid California drivers’ license and clean DMV record.
  • Strong leadership skills, business acumen, technical audit skills, analytical and critical thinking skills, project management and organizational skills
  • Clear and effective listening and communication (verbal, written, presentation) skills 
  • Strong interpersonal and team skills 
  • Strong influencing and negotiation skills; demonstrate credibility
  • Able to interact comfortably with all levels of management and staff, and Board members; strong executive presence 
  • Able to build strong relationships with auditees; relationship management 
  • Understanding of organizational interdependencies and cultural nuances 
  • Managerial courage; able to constructively challenge senior management in an appropriate fashion 

Preferred/Desired

  • Process improvement and/or experience working with project management tools (Microsoft Project, TCM, Six Sigma, etc.) preferred.
  • Project Management Professional Certification (PMP)
