Under the direct supervision from the charge technologist, technical supervisor and Director of Medical Imaging assists the department by performing routine patient transportation to and from the Imaging Departments. Performs aseptic techniques, adult catheterization, processor quality control checks, stocks linen and expendable materials and assists the physicians with routine diagnostic imaging procedures in accordance with hospital and department policies and procedures. Also performs clerical, reception and communication tasks designed to facilitate efficient handling, storage and communication of patient medical information. Also performs a variety of other duties including answering telephones and interacting with other departmental and hospital employees. This position requires the full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the Mission of St. Bernardine Medical Center. It is expected that the employee will demonstrate behavior consistent with the Core Values. The employee shall support St. Bernardine Medical Center's strategic plan and the goals and direction of the quality improvement/process improvement activities.



  • College classes in emergency medical training preferred.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and demonstrate exceptional interactive skills with capability to communicate clearly and effectively.
  • Demonstrate good clerical skills.
