Responsibilities

Our CLINICAL LAB - CANCER CENTER is seeking a Laboratory Assistant to join our team! Performs blood collection and specimen processing. Assists with telephone calls and other clerical duties. Performs CLIA-waived and moderate complexity testing, assists with technical procedures within regulatory guidelines.

Qualifications

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

High School Diploma / GED

Six (6) months laboratory-related experience

Completion of Laboratory Assistant program

Basic Life Support training

Laboratory Assistant certification

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Phlebotomy and processing experience

AA degree in a chemical or biological science desired

Completion of phlebotomy training program
