Mercy Medical Center Redding offers a comprehensive range of heart care services in the North State.  From diagnosis through cardiac rehabilitation, our experienced heart team, including sub-specialty, board-certified interventional cardiologists, cardiac surgeons, and cardiology hospitalists helps patients receive the most appropriate treatment. 


Our 4-bed CVICU is just four steps away from the CVOR and our cardiac catheterization lab, to ensure efficient patient flow.  Each room is spacious with views of the nearby Cascade mountain range and work stations are within steps of the patient rooms offering reassurance and comfort to both patients and families of being in visual contact with members of the healthcare team

Required Qualifications:

  • 1 year recent experience in critical care
  • BLS
  • ACLS
  • California RN license
  • Basic dysrythmia course completion
  • Verbal and written communication skills
  • Computer skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1 year experience in recovering open heart patients, trauma patients and in caring for patients on IABP, CVVH preferred
  • CCRN within two years of hire preferred
